Itinerary

1. Transfer to Sinharaja

04:30 AM – Pickup from your hotel. Travel inland toward Deniyaya or Kudawa (main entry points to Sinharaja).


08:00 AM – Arrive at the forest entrance, meet your naturalist, and begin a safety briefing.

2. Rainforest Trekking

08:30 AM – Begin a guided nature walk through lush rainforest trails. Observe endemic birdlife (e.g., Sri Lanka blue magpie), monkeys, reptiles, colorful butterflies, and unique tropical vegetation. Trail options are available for both beginners and intermediate hikers.


11:30 AM – Short break with refreshments near a natural stream or waterfall.
